[edit] Synopsis

After Jason helps Kelsi shoot the winning basketball, the crowd suddenly gets into a celebration mode. The school then starts to sing the first chant: "Together, together, together, everyone! Together, together, come on, let's have some fun! Together, we're there for each other every time. Together, together, come on let's do this right!" Troy Bolton starts off the song by saying that "Here and now, it's time for celebration," and that he "finally figured out that all our dreams have no limitations," and "that's what it's all about!" Gabriella Montez in turn realizes that "everyone is special in our own way," and that "we make each other strong." She then adds that "we're not the same," but "we're different in a good way," and explains that "together's where we belong!" In the chorus, the kids tell us that "We're all in this together, once we know, that we all, we're all stars, and we see that we're all in this together, and it shows when we stand hand-in-hand, make our dreams come true..." They then chant the first chant again. While they are doing this, they dance around each other, showing that they really are "in this together." Ryan Evans then tells everyone that "we're all here, and speaking out with one voice," and that "we're gonna rock the house!" He then tells everyone that "The party's on" and wants everyone to "make some noise, come on, scream and shout!" The school lets out a loud cheer while Ryan jumps down to the basketball players, who hold him up while Sharpay, his sister, explains, "We've arrived because we stuck together, champions one and all!" The kids dance to the chorus again, adding that "We're all in this together when we reach, we can fly," and that they "know inside we can make it." They then explain that "we're all in this together once we see there's a chance that we have and we take it!" The school then does the Wildcat Breakdown, telling each other ("Wildcats") to "sing along," and tells us that they really got it going on!" They tell each other that they're "in the house," and they want everybody to "say it now!" They finally ask "Wildcats, everywhere," to "wave their hands up in the air." They then tell us that "that's the way we do it, let's get to it," and they prove it by saying that it's "time to show the world!" The basketball players, the cheerleaders, and the brainiacs dance to show the world. The kids then all come together to sing the last chorus and the last line of the Wildcat Breakdown one more time, adding "Come on, everyone!" before they all dance around the gym a final time.
