WCOG is a Radio Disney station serving the Greensboro, North Carolina market. WCOG broadcasts on 1320 kHz.

[edit] History

The Radio Disney format used to be on WKEW (AM 1400) prior to moving to WCOG.

WCOG was a Top 40 station in the 60s and 70s. In 1985, the station changed to beautiful music with the letters WGLD. Later, WGLD became an oldies station. From 1989 to 1994 WGLD used a satellite adult standards format. The letters changed to WWWB when the station switched to talk, and for a time much of the programming was the same as that of WMFR. During the late 90s the station was WTCK "The Ticket", a sports talk station. Truth Broadcasting changed the station to Christian talk and returned the WCOG letters, and eventually the switch to Radio Disney was made.
