WCBC-FM began as WKZG, always owned by Cumberland Broadcasting Corporation. The call letters were changed to WCBC, to match sister station 1270 AM. WCBC-FM plays a wide playlist of classic rock and oldies from the 50's through the very early 80's, most from ABC Radio's "Oldies Radio" Network. WCBC is also the FM home of ABC Radio News and Paul Harvey.

WCBC-FM is also the home of NASCAR Busch Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and Nextel Cup racing. WCBC carries all races from MRN Radio and PRN Radio, plus most (if not all) MRN and PRN programming.

WCBC-FM also has translator in Cumberland on 99.5. The 99.5 signal may soon be supplanted by a new, full-power station to be started by the owners of WDYK 100.5.
