[edit] This "unofficial site" is irrelevant and doesn't belong.
The musings of 44 fans of a radio station don't seem to be relevant to an encylopedic article. Furthermore, there is nothing that can be leared about the station or its history from this site. If the contents of this site were paraphrased into Wikipedia, it would be deemed NPOV. But I guess if you consider teeth whitening, pictures of trains, and movie reviews to be ESSENTIAL knowldge to an encyclopedic article about a radio station, maybe you know something I don't. 71.68.60.157 23:30, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

The number of fans that post on this message board is also irrelevant- and the number given above is also inaccurate. There is quite a lot to be learned about the station- a great majority of the topics deal with issues discussed on the air by WBT personalities. And.. as mentioned earlier, the board was started as a continuation of the offical wbt.com board. Several WBT personalities *HELPED start it, and have actively participated in it since then. Several more personalities still contribute. Several contributors to the UnBT board that are not official WBT personalities are quite often the *topic of a show or segment of a show, especially recently. I believe the real reason the person above who only gave an IP address doesn't want the link to the UnBT boards is that the UnBT boards often present opinions that are criticial of the station, station advertisers, and station personalities. An encyclopedic entry on wikipedia typically has links to sites that are in favor of or against the topics of various articles, and the link to UnBT board could well be an example of this. I believe WBT management does not want the link to the UnBT boards because of this- they don't want negative opinions and criticisms of their station made public. [edit] Why irrelevant link?
Please explain why the link to the UnBT boards is irrelevant? The boards are an unofficial bulletin board community that was created to discuss topics mentioned by WBT personalities. Several WBT personalities have participated in the board in the past and probably still do to this day. Where can I place the link to the UNBT boards on the WBT entry that would make the link relevant? Itskinnyd 18:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Also because it's being done repeatedly without discussion. We can't link every unofficial board on Wikipedia; one wouldn't go to the article on 24 and expect to find a list of unofficial message boards. I will undo the semiprotection now though. --Golbez 19:20, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- I can understand why every unofficial message board cannot be linked to on Wikipedia. However- the UnBT board is the only unofficial message board for WBT, and is also the *only message board for WBT. It was spawned out of the official one hosted by WBT.com and several key WBT personalities helped it get its start several years ago. It is the message board that nearly all WBT employees read and is often referred to by personalities on the air. And again- several WBT personalities and former pesronalities still contribute to it.
