I refer to these edits. When a wikipedia article is drastically altered with unsubstatiated or unencyclopedic content, it is common practice to revert those changes. An explaination or protracted discussion on talk is not required as a matter of form. In fact it is expected that user wishing to implement new changes should first come to talk and discuss the proposed changes to gain community support before going ahead.
