Wayne Connolly is an Australian musician and producer. Starting out as a singer, songwriter and guitarist for Sydney band The Welcome Mat, Connolly also worked at Fairlight (developers of the Fairlight CMI) before becoming an engineer and producer. Originally working around the Australian power pop scene with bands such as The Flanders, Webster and Jericho City, Connolly began to work on more high profile bands such as You Am I, Youth Group and The Vines.

Although less active as a musician as he became busier as a producer, Wayne Connolly continues to sporadically record and perform with long-term partner Tracy Ellis under the name of Knievel.
