Washington Township Schools

The Washington Township Schools are a community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from Washington Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The district includes five schools and a central office. There are approximately 2,950 students currently enrolled in the schools served by 230 teaching staff.
Students in grades 9-12 attend West Morris Central High School, which is located in Washington Township, but has Chester mailing address, and is part of the West Morris Regional High School District. Students in the district come from the surrounding Morris County school districts of Chester Borough, Chester Township, Mendham Borough, Mendham Township and from Washington Township.

Schools in the district are:
- Old Farmers Road School, which serves the southern section of the district and houses approximately 550 students in grades K-5
- Walter J. Kossmann School houses approximately 560 students in grades K-2
- Flocktown Road School houses approximately 450 students in grades 3-5
- Long Valley Middle School houses approximately 1,400 students in grades 6-8
- The new Benedict A. Cucinella Elementary School housing grades K-4 opened in September of 2006.
