Washington State Route 397

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

State Route 397, or Highway 397, is a minor highway servicing the Tri-Cities of southeastern Washington. The highway provides one of only three paths across the Columbia River from the southern cities (Richland and Kennewick) to Pasco via the Cable Bridge, along with Interstate 182 and U.S. Highway 395. The highway begins at Highway 395, at the onramps to I-182 near a cemetery in Pasco. As the highway heads south, it usurps Oregon Avenue, Ainsworth Street, the Cable Bridge (officially Ed Hendler Bridge), Gum Street, and Chemical Drive. The highway continues on as Chemical Drive into Finley, Washington to end at Piert Road.
