Washington Local School District

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wahington Local School District (WLS)is a district set up in Toledo, Ohio. It is separate from the Toledo Public Schools (TPS) due to WLS saying no to becoming part of TPS, after Toledo expanded its city limits.

WLS is know for its outstanding Career and Technology Center, it offers job training in most major fields. It ranges from Criminal Justice, to Cosmotology. This program offers freshman through seniors to gain the experience needed to become certified in that field. As far as the districts in Lucas County goes, Whitmer tells their students that they rank second, but this is not official due to the state not publishing a list of the best in the state per county.
