Warthill is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England, about six miles east of York. The village is part of Ryedale District Council. The village contains one public house called The Agar Arms and a local village Church of England Primary School (established in 1863), accommodating approximately forty pupils. Warthill is also home to St Mary's Church which was built in the 19th Century, and is a good example of Victorian gothic architecture. Brockfield Hall a Georgian House completed in 1807 is also situated nearby.

Andrew Wood, the famed entreupeneur lived lived there and attended the local school
