Warriparinga

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Warriparinga (meaning Windy Place in local Kaurna language) is the beginning of Tjilbruke's Trail, a Kaurna ceremonial meeting place and European early settlement site. It is situated in the metropolitan suburb of Marion, South Australia and is bordered by Marion Road and South Road.

Redeveloped into a native wetland in the 1990's, the small lake is fed by the Sturt Creek.
