The Warren Snow Football League, or SFL, is a football league based in Warren, PA. It is played in the bitter months of winter in northwest Pennsylvania. This is a tackle football league with only best players from the class of 2010.
Football in this league is played 4 on 4, but can be played 3 on 3 in case of injury or not enough players attending. If a player on one of the teams can not attend, a sub can replace him. Penalties have been called on the players own in the past, but the league has implied a ref in recent years.
Three teams are normally in the league. Players can play football or not. A draft is held shortly after school begins. The preseason is played without snow. It is not tackle due to a recent injury to Jordan Baughman, so it is normally played touch or wrap-style.
This league was formed many years ago. It has a rich history and a title is awarded every year to the winning team. There is a championship game to determine the winner. Awards are rewarded at the end of the- MVP, rookie of the year, offensive and defensive players, etc.
