Warren Pearson

Warren Pearson is the National Director of the National Australia Day Council (NADC).

Warren Pearson was appointed the National Director of the National Australia Day Council in August 2001. In this role he is responsible for planning Australia Day celebrations and prresenting the Australian of the Year and associated awards.[1]

Formerly a high school drama teacher he then entered the NSW Department of Education as and events manager. Pearson then went to the City of Sydney as cultural and city events manager. He moved to the Australia Day Council of NSW and managed Sydney Harbour for the Australia Day celebrations in 1997 and the following year he was appointed arts and events manager. [2]
