Warren Central High School is a high school in Warren Township on the east side of Indianapolis. It has an enrollment of around 4,000, and is a member of the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference.

Notable Alumni include former NFL quarterback Jeff George, The Today Show and Dateline NBC host Jane Pauley, former NFL player and Super Bowl champion Justin Smith (Tampa Bay Bucaneers), former NFL player Jamie Asher (Washington Redskins), former ESPN Page 2 and current Kansas City Star writer Jason Whitlock, former NBA shooting guard Greg Graham, and the late Jake Laird, an Indianapolis Police Department officer whose line of duty death sparked statewide debate about assault rifles. Ryan Murphy is the creator of the hit FX television series Nip/Tuck.

The Warriors have won a state record four consecutive IHSAA (Indiana High School Athletic Association) class 5-A football championships (2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 ), attaining a ranking as high as #2 in the USA Today Prep Top 25 poll. The cross country team won its first-ever state championship in 2005 and placed 15th in the Nike invitational tournament held in Oregon December 3, 2005. The cross country team repeated as State Champions in 2006. The Warriors also boast state championships in other athletics as well. Currently, Warren Central is home to the state's top ranked boys and girls Track & Field teams.

The Warren Central Speech Team has won the Sectional title seven years in a row (2000-2007). In the 2005-2006 speech season. Warren won the Indiana High School Forensics Association AAA State Championship as well as the Grand Champion title for the first time since 1967. State Champions include; Dustin Swensson in Foreign Extemporaneous(2002-2003), Michael Potter and Keagan Fife in Scripted Duo (2003-2004), Rebecca Euliss in Humorous Interpretation (2005-2006), Rebecca Euliss and Sasha Bannister in Original Performance (2006-2007), Ryan England and Amber Lafever in Memorized Duo (2006-2007), and Erica Abrams in Original Oratory (2006-2007).
