Warren James Carne born 14 October 1975 in Bulawayo, Matabeleland Rhodesia,(now Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean Mountainbiker.

His English born father served with the Royal Air Force 1st Glocesters regiment in Malaya and Singapore, his mother is South African. His family emigrated from Zimbabwe to Potchefstroom in South Africa in the late 1980's. He completed his schooling at Potchefstroom boys high. He also excelled at cricket, playing cricket in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Upon finishing high school took up mountainbiking and has raced on the South African mountainbiking circuit. He rode in the 2005 Zimbabwean National MTB Championships in Harare attaining a Bronze in his age group, and finished with an overall top 10 in the Elite Mens category.

In 2005 he represented Zimbabwe at the combined Gauteng and Northern Gauteng MTB interprovincial championships that were held in Johannesburg. He is earmarked to be named in the Zimbabwean MTB squad for the 2007 African MTB Championships which are due to be held in Windhoek, Namibia.

He works as a free lance sports writer having had work published by the Zimbabwe Rugby Union website, Wisden Cricinfo and Adventure Travel magazine in the United Kingdom
