Netherlands |
The elm cultivar Warnoux (Vada™) is a Dutch development derived from the crossing of the hybrid Plantyn with another selfed (self-pollinated) specimen of Plantyn. Originally identified as clone No. 762, it was selected and assessed by the French Institut National pour la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), who patented it as Vada™ in 2006. Possessed of the same vigour and disease-resistance as Lutèce™, Vada™ is a more fastigiate tree primarily intended for street planting.
