Warkworth is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario in the county of Northumberland. The village of Warkworth, formerly named Benfield, is part of the recently-formed municipality of Trent Hills.

Warkworth is home to a medium-security federal penitentiary, the Warkworth Institution, Percy Centennial Public School, and a historical plaque honouring local artist J.D. Kelly. The town rink is a primary center of social interaction, historically serving hockey and ringette players as well as curlers.

Warkworth hosts an annual Maple Syrup Festival, which attracts many local tourists. It was once home to the award-winning "Warkworth Cheese House." Warkworth has been a hockey powerhouse, capturing 11 Provincial titles, most recently in 1993-1994.
