[edit] Gameplay

The game's action centers mainly on combating enemies, though it requires some platform navigation similar to Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

[edit] Story

The game takes place after Wario Land 4. After collecting treasure from the Golden Pyramid (and visiting all-you-can-eat steak restaurants), Wario has filled his castle with all the money and precious gems that he's collected from around the World. Unfortunately the magical Black Jewel, in fact a nefarious living being, transforms all of Wario's treasures into nasty creatures and sends Wario to another dimension. In order to recover his treasure and his castle, and escape the mysterious dimension, Wario must defeat the realm's many odd creatures, turning them back into coins, and defeat the Black Jewel once and for all.
