"War Nerve" is a heavy metal song by Pantera. It appears on the 1996 album The Great Southern Trendkill. The lyrics deal with singer Phil Anselmo's issues with the tabloid media cutting him down and calling him a racist after he made some comments during a Pantera concert in Canada.[citation needed]
