War Heroes was a posthumous release of Jimi Hendrix music in 1972. It includes a couple of new release-quality tracks ("Izabella") plus B-sides ("Highway Chile") and throwaways ("Three Little Bears"). War Heroes was also released by Polydor as part of a 11 x LP + 1 x double album limited edition boxed set (2625 040). Interestingly, the sleeve shows album number 2459 389 which is also etched on the vinyl, however, the centre label shows 2302-020. In the track listing, Stepping Stone is the last track on side 1.
This album has also been released on the French record label: Barclas 80467. This french release has a different track listing
