The article states that the federal electorates are fairly safe Labor seats. However, Canberra was held by the Liberals from 1975-1980 and again from 1995-96. We of course have one senator from each of the major parties .... --AYArktos 01:13, 5 September 2005 (UTC)

The AEC classifies Canberra as a fairly safe Labor seat and Fraser as safe Labor seat based on the two party preferred results of the last election. See the reference AEC, 2005. -Gimboid13 11:18, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
