I can kind of see what this article is getting at, but I find the title and some of the content problematic. "Theatres of operation" seems to imply this is a conventional war with conventional battlegrounds, which isn't the case. Perhaps the nearest analogous topic I can think of is the Cold War, and I don't see a similar Theatres of Operations article there. Given the controversial nature of the "War on Terror" I am wary of any article that implies that it can be viewed as a conventional war.

In addition it's highly unclear what the critera are for inclusion in this list. It seems that almost every part of the world is involved in the "War on Terror" in some way. Europe, Africa, U.S.A., are all involved in these operations in various ways {terrorist attacks took place there, intelligence gathering etc. etc.}.

Perhaps the list needs to be tightened up and the article moved to something like: "Regions where the U.S. is conducting military operations in the "War on Terror"". Dave w74 06:27, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Iraq

The Iraq War was determined to be part of the campaign, see here: [1] Rangeley 13:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

What about Djibouti and the horn of Africa?. The U.S. has two thousand men there as well as the naval campaign that a great many nations are involved in off the horn of Africa.
