Wang Shu-hui
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wang Shu-hui (王淑慧) is a legislator for the Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan. The DPP is currently the ruling party.
She made news headlines May 30, 2006, when on the legislative floor in Taipei, she snatched a paper (proposing direct links with the People's Republic of China) from PFP legislator Ko Shu-ming (柯淑敏) (a MP from the KMT, the main opposition party) and stuffed it in her mouth. Legislators from the opposition attempted to get her to cough up the document by pulling her by the hair, but she would later remove it and tear it up.
The episode capped a contentious legislative session, which included scuffles and spitting.
