There is a proposal to create a precedent that names are not encyclopedic. Articles about names regularly show up on various deletion pages and are summarily deleted. Perhaps - since you've been working on an article about a name, you hold a different opinion that you'd like to express. [edit] The expansion of this page

I just deleted the info on how many per cent of famous Chinese have the surname Wang, I don't think we should burden this article with this kind of trivia, which obviously come from the almost completely unsourced article in Chinese Wikipedia. What is the next step, adding info on blood groups?--Niohe 22:07, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
