WAMX / X106-3 is an FM Active Rock station serving the "Tri-State" area of Huntington, West Virginia, Ashland, Kentucky, and Ironton, Ohio. The station has a low ERP of only 1,650 watts. WAMX was formerly owned by AM-FM Licenses, and now owned by Clear Channel Communications, along with WTCR-FM, WTCR-AM, WKEE-FM, WBKS-FM, WBVB-FM, WZZW-AM and WVHU-AM. Currenetly WAMX ranks sixth in the Huntington-Ashland Metropolitan Statistical Area Arbitron ratings. The station shares a tower in Milton with WZZW-AM.

- WAMX formerly was an Album Oriented Rock station, located on 93.7 FM, which is now an unrelated station called WDGG-FM.
- 106.3's former callsign was WAEZ-FM, from 1985 until 1993.
