Walter Leistikow

Walter Leistikow (25 October 1865 - 24 July 1908) was a German artist.

He was born in Bromberg on October 25, 1865. After having been dismissed by the Academy in Berlin for lack of talent, he studied with Hermann Eschke and the Norwegian painter Hans Fredrik Gude.

In 1898, he became one of the founders of the Berlin Secession Movement. He died in Berlin on July 24, 1908.
