[edit] Gregory involvement

The neutrality of this article is disputed.
Please see the discussion on the talk page.

Even though Hudson's organs functioned as well as a normal 21-year-old's, nutritionalist Dick Gregory used Hudson as his claim to fame, often saying that Hudson had lost between 200 and 800 pounds (90–360 kg), and using him for his own Bahamian diet. When Hudson refused to participate in the making of a videotape about the diet, Gregory left.

[edit] Death

Walter Hudson died in his sleep at age 47 after years of starvation dieting. His death came weeks after he announced his wedding date.
