Wally E. Horn is the Iowa State Senator from the 17th District. He received his BS and MA Northeastern Missouri State Teachers College.
Horn currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Judiciary committee; the Labor and Business Relations committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the State Government committee, where he is vice chair. He also serves as vice chair of the Education Appropriations Subcommittee.
Horn was re-elected in 2006 with 15,332 votes, running unopposed. [1]
