Walled Lake Western High School (also known as Walled Lake Western, Western, or as simply WLW) is one of the three high schools in the Walled Lake Consolidated School district, located in Walled Lake, Michigan. About 1,500 students attend the school each year (1,701 according to the school's website, as of 2/1/2007). Western athletics compete in the Western Lakes Athletics Association. Western's mascot is the Warrior and its school colors are royal blue and silver (formerly including scarlet, as well). The Western Warrior football team won state championship titles in division I-AA in 1996 and 1999.
