A wall calendar is a calendar intended for placement on a wall. Wall calendars can be visually interesting, feature pin-up girls, companies and products. Years ago, filling stations often gave wall calendars away for free to customers. Wall calendars can be an advertisement in the home or a reminder of holidays, important events, and company events. By some estimates, more that 80% of homes hang some type of wall calendar.
Today, wall calendars are often sold in bookstores and can be obtained from businesses.
