Walking with... (TV series)

The BBC have released a highly popular set of series exploring the Earth's past and the species it has contained. However the latest series, 'Prehistoric Park' was broadcast on one of the BBC's rivals, ITV in the UK. Most of them were directed by Tim Haines, except Walking with Cavemen which is not always considered a part of the canon.

- Walking with Dinosaurs - 1999
A 6 part series that documents the age of the dinosaur. There are also several specials - 'The Ballad of Big Al', which was in the same documentary style as the series and the 2 'Chased by Dinosaurs' which showed a time traveler, Nigel Marven, travelling into the past to see dinosaurs.
- Walking with Beasts - 2001
A 6 part series that documents the age of the great mammals after the dinosaurs.
- Walking with Cavemen - 2003
A 4 part series to look at the history of mankind from up until the ice age.
- Sea Monsters - c.2004
A 3 part series showing Nigel Marven travelling to the past to see the world's most terrifying sea monsters.
- Walking with Monsters - c.2005
A 3 part series that documents the age of the first life on Earth, before the dinosaurs.
- Prehistoric Park - 2006
A 6 part series about Nigel Marven who travels back in time to collect animals for his modern day 'prehistoric park'.
