"Walk Away" is a song by Donna Summer from her highly successful Bad Girls album. The album had been released on Casablanca Records, who had given Summer some of her biggest hits during the disco era. However after a dispute Summer left the label and filed a lawsuit against them in 1980 which was later settled. She signed to Geffen Records and begun working on a new non-disco album. In an effort to compete, Casablanca released a collector's edition compilation album entitled "Walk Away" and also released the single of the same title. It was only a moderate hit.
