[edit] Uploading images
Hi there, thanks for all the images that you've uploaded for use in the Lackawanna Cutoff article. However, it would be much better if the image names had something to do with the images themselves. For example, Image:October 2006 021.jpg would be better named something like Paulins Kill Viaduct.jpg. You can't rename images you've already uploaded, but just keep this in mind for future reference.
Also, I encourage you to upload your images to the Wikimedia Commons when they are your own work. This allows wikipedias of other languages (such as french, german, or russian) to use the same copy of the image without having to upload a separate version on their own wikipedia. You can include images from the Commons in the same way you include images from en.Wikipedia, using [[Image:IMAGENAME]]
. Thanks again for your contributions. Cheers! —lensovet–talk – 21:11, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Lackawanna Limited at Roseville.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Lackawanna Limited at Roseville.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

- You do not know when the photo was published, only when it was taken. If it was not published, it is only public domain if the author died before 1937. --NE2 08:01, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redlinks
Please stop removing the redlinks in the Lackawanna Cutoff article. Red links, while possibly aesthetically unpleasing, serve a very important purpose on wikipedia; there is nothing inherently "bad" about a red link. Please take a look at WP:RED, read it over, and return the table to the way I made it. Thank you. —lensovet–talk – 07:52, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
