Talk:Walter Gretzky
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Father/Son relationship is not significant
We open with saying he is somebody else's father. That may be true, but that is not the most important thing about him. It's what he personally did that gives him the right to an article. Who his son is can come later. JackofOz 00:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why does Phyllis Gretzky get redirected here?
Is she not a separate and equal person from Walter Gretzky? If her name is automatically redirected here, then the article should be about both of them.

- Wikipedia articles are created for "notable" people (see WP:NOTE), and walter's coaching and part ownership of the coyotes establishes his notability.. as far as i can tell, phyllis is only notable (insofar as an encyclopedia is concerned..) as being the wife of walter (or possibly, more notably, the mother of wayne).
