- With an infobox and a few minor changes (esp. to the intro (what teams?) and needs references) would be a B class.--DO11.10 23:43, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
I was fortunate to know Wally Bunker when he was a student at Capuchino High School. We were in the same physical education class and played some basketball together during the 1962-63 school year. In the fall of 1966, when Bunker returned to San Bruno to meet old friends, after pitching a shut-in against the Dodgers in the World Series, I was able to take photographs of him for the San Bruno Herald. He was reunited with one of his mentors from the Roman Catholic parochial school he attended and he was honored at the city council meeting. It's only unfortunate that tendonitis and other ailments contributed to him retiring at a relatively early age. Sallyrob 03:55, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
