Wako-shi Station

Wako-shi Station (和光市駅 Wako-shi-eki?) is a Tobu Railway and Tokyo Metro station, located in Wako, Saitama, Japan. Tobu Railway maneges this station. 
This station is only in Saitama Prefecture at the station of Tokyo Metro.

February 1, 1934 : This station opened as Niigura Station (新倉駅 -eki?), a station of Tōbu Railway Tōjō Main Line.
July 21, 1934 : Renamed to Niikura Station (新倉駅 -eki?).
October 1, 1951 : Renamed to Yamato-machi Station (大和町 -eki?).
December 20, 1970 : Renamed to Wako-shi Station. August 25, 1987 : Yūrakuchō Line has been started.
