Wake Up My Love is a single by George Harrison. It was the first single pulled from the album Gone Troppo. The single performed twice as better in the charts than his last single, Teardrops, but that was only in the US and "Wake Up My Love" reached only #53 in the US and never even charting in the UK. The song was one of Harrison's attempts at making his music sound "up to date." The heavy use of synthesizers has been considered to sound awkward and strange by some. Even so, the song is an upbeat, energetic song that some think should have done better in the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
