Waiting for Santa

Waiting for Santa was the first Barney and the Backyard Gang Christmas Eve special. Released on video in December 25, 1990 it features an array of traditional Christmas songs.
[edit] Plot
Everyone is asleep in Michael's house. Michael and Amy wakes up because Barney is trying to come down the chimney and has got stuck. After he is released he magically brings the other children to Michael's house and then off to see Santa. At the North Pole the kids meet Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, a snowman and Derek. After helping Santa the children return home and Barney reads A Visit from St. Nicholas and they all fall back asleep.
