Waitara is a railway station on the CityRail network in Sydney servicing the suburb of Waitara. The station is served by four trains per hour in each direction for most of the day, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.

- North Shore Line - all stations and limited stops services to Central; then to Blacktown, Penrith, Emu Plains, Riverstone, or Richmond via the Western Line, or to Eastwood or Hornsby via the Northern Line
Platform 2
- North Shore Line - all stations services to Hornsby & Berowra.
