In Polynesian mythology, Waiora ("water of life") is the goddess of good health. She owned a well which granted health for the rest of the bather's life.

The name also refers to a lake (also called Vai-Ola) which has the same effect. Its location is unknown.

[Waiora (way-or-ah) is also a company featuring science-based, healthy-aging products. Headquartered in Boca Raton.
