Waha

Waha is a former Belgian municipality located in Wallonia, merged with Aye, Hargimon, Humain, Marche-en-Famenne, Marloie, On, Champlon (Famenne) and Roy in the municipality of Marche-en-Famenne.

The name of "Waha" comes from the Celtic name "Wachart", which might have been changed into "Wachardi", in the Latin name of the location, i.e. "Wachardi mansus", meaning "Wachart dwelling".
