Waffle Crisp is a breakfast cereal made by Post Cereals, which contains maple syrup-flavored corn cereal bits in a waffle shape. The cereal is rivaled against Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It was first launched in 1996. Waffle Crisp is very similar to Post's Honeycomb cereal.
The Waffle Crisp mascots were a bunch of "grannies" who labored making Waffle Crisp obsessively, prior to being replaced by an anthropomorphic waffle with red tennis shoes dubbed "Waffle Boy".
