[edit] pokemon Japanese names
these are the right pokemon Japanese names, why are you changing them Wael11 {on User talk:M C Y 1008} 23:26, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hm, well, I believe those are the trademarked romaji for the names, but I should probably check with someone more knowledgeable about that. PCP talk?—M_C_Y_1008 {on User talk:M C Y 1008} (talk/contribs) 23:30, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- Apologies. I see you're new here. I'm referring to the Pokémon Collaborative Project's project talk page. This issue should probably be brought up there, where others can look over it and decide what to do. I'm not sure of this since I don't actually know enough ways to look up the trademarked Japanese romaji (which is what goes in that particular parameter of the species template, rather than the simple Hepburn romanization - which Serebii.net seems to get slightly wrong a lot). I know of this trademark database, but that's it, and most of the older Pokémon names (pre-4th-gen) don't seem to show up in there.—M_C_Y_1008 {on User talk:M C Y 1008} (talk/contribs) 00:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
