Wade VanLandingham

Wade VanLandingham is a mathematician known for his involvement in the 196 Palindrome Quest. He coined the term Lychrel from a rough anagram of his girlfriend's name Cheryl. He maintains the www.p196.org website, called 196 and Other Lychrel Numbers, which gives ongoing updates on the 196 Palindrome Quest, and lots of information regarding other Lychrel Numbers. The site is collaboration of a lot of people's work, including John Walker, Tim Irving, Larry Simkins, Jason Doucette, István Bozsik, Benjamin Despres, Eric Sellers, Eric Goldstein, Vaughn Suite, Pierre-Andre Laurent and Matt Stenson.
