Władysław Syrokomla designated himself as a pole. So he was a polish poet, not belarusian. If belarusians designates this man as belarusian only because he was born in territory that is part of Belarus today, so Władysław Syrokomla should be russian poet, because in 19 century neither Poland nore Belarus didn't existed.--82.135.217.36 14:06, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
