Wöllstein is a municipality in the district Alzey-Worms, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located approx. 8 km south-east of Bad Kreuznach, and 30 km south-west of Mainz.

Wöllstein is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Wöllstein, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):

  • Eckelsheim
  • Gau-Bickelheim
  • Gumbsheim
  • Siefersheim
  • Stein-Bockenheim
  • Wendelsheim
  • Wöllstein
  • Wonsheim
