Vyzhnytsia (Ukrainian: Вижниця, German: Wischnitza or Wiznitz, Romanian: Vijniţa, Russian: Вижница, translit. Vizhnitsia, Yiddish: וויזשניץ Vizhnitz) is a town located on the Cheremosh River in the Chernivtsi Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Vyzhnytsky Raion (district).
