Vuktyl

Vuktyl (Russian: Вуктыл) is a town in the Komi Republic, Russia, located on the right bank of the Pechora River near its confluence with the Vuktyl River, 575 km north-east of Syktyvkar. Vuktyl is served by Vuktyl Airport. Population: 14,000 (2005 est.); 14,472 (2002 Census); 19,330 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1968 and granted town status in 1989.
