I have finished primary and secondary school (legendary XV. Gymnasium also called MIOC) in Zagreb. During my high school education, I have won several awards:
- gold medal in informatics on Croatian National Informatics Olympiad
- 8th position in ACSL in competition of more than 150 other students in Houston, USA (invited to visit President of Republic for that achievement)
- First place in mathematics on Croatian National Competition in mathematics
- Second place in mathematics on Croatian National Olympiad in mathematics
I have graduated mathematics and computer science among top 10% of students, at the University of Zagreb, Department of Mathematics with B.A. thesis "Object Oriented Programming: basic techniques".
During my studies, I was rewarded with the highest University award for the project on the Potential method (here, we call it Rector's Award, where rector is the head of the University of Zagreb).

I am currently employed the Department of Mathematics as a teaching assistant. My field of interest is Decision theory, in particular Potential method. Have presented two papers on the International conference in Operational Research (KOI).
On 27 March 2006, I have gained Master's degree in mathematics. The title of the thesis was "The cone Potential method".
[edit] Previous employments and activities
I have many years of experience with object oriented programming (since 1992) and have worked as a part-time teacher of Turbo Pascal (versions 6.0 and 7.0) including standard and object Pascal, as well as Turbo Vision (for about 2 years) and as a part-time teacher of HTML and JavaScript.
During my studies, I was a webmaster for my Faculty:
- head designer, coder and maintainer of the official Faculty site
- maintainer of students' web
I was also in charcge for PC laboratory (15 Pentiums 133/32/1.2 with WinNT, MS Office, Borland Delphi, Microsoft Visual Studio,...) plus tech support for that lab (for about 3 years).

- advanced Perl programmer
- Turbo Pascal (versions 3 to 7.0 – for about 10 years) and Borland Delphi (versions 1, 2, 3 and 4 - since the begining of Delphi) programming (Windows 3.1, Windows 95, WindowsNT Workstation)
- Created many Delphi components (for decoration, Registry management, working with DLLs, text parsing, printing,...)
- familiar with Windows API
- Very familiar with LaTeX
- Familiar with OpenOffice.org and Microsoft Office
- Mathematica 3 & 4 (2D & 3D graphs, various calculations, packages,...)
