Sea Control Squadron Three One (VS-31), known as the "Topcats", is a United States Navy S-3 Viking squadron based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Currently, the squadron is slated for decommissioning following its 2007 cruise aboard the carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) as a part of Carrier Air Wing Nine.
